Thompson Lawnmowers & Chainsaws (2016) Ltd is a NZ owned business. All purchases made online on this website are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Customers are advised to review the Terms and Conditions each time they purchase online as changes may be made at any time without notice.

Intellectual Property

Images, copy, video footage, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of this website.

Images, copy, video footage, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property may not be reproduced in any format without the prior permission of the website owner.

Privacy

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, personal information will not be shared, published or passed to third parties without prior permission.

Product Presentation

Due care is taken to represent all products and associated information correctly.

No responsibility is taken for errors in information, imagery or pricing.

Colour variation may occur due to differences in screen resolution and quality.

Warranties

Please check in store for all warranty conditions and requirements.

 

Shipping & Payment

Pricing

All prices quoted are in NZ dollars and include GST. Please note your account will be charged in NZ dollars.

Online Payment

Items will be delivered once payment has been received.

Payment may be made by the following means:

  • Credit Card Online via DPS secure credit card payment facility. The name that will appear on your statement will be Thompson Lawnmowers & Chainsaws (1996) Limited
  • Internet Banking using the Back Account Number listed below. Include name and invoice number as the reference

Freight

Orders will be delivered within 7 working days of payment. Customers will be notified of freight rates prior to delivery.

We do not deliver to Post Office Box addresses, and do not offer overseas delivery options.

Petrol Powered product must be collected in store (Couriers will not ship products with Petrol or Oil in the tanks and all our equipment is run before leaving the store)

Fulfilment of Orders

Customers will be advised if for any reason an item is unavailable for delivery.

Customers may elect to cancel the order, or hold delivery until the item comes back into stock.

If an order is cancelled due to an item being unavailable for delivery, then a full refund for that item will be issued.

Customers may request a Credit rather than a refund. Credits are valid for 12 months.

Minimum value for free freight conditions apply if an item is unavailable for delivery. Refer to Freight Policy.

Returns / Faulty / Layby

Returns Policy

To qualify for a refund, item must be as supplied, complete with labels, brochures and packaging.

  • Item must not be used
  • Item must be in new, unmarked and undamaged condition, (new Items)
  • Item must be returned in the same conditions as it was supplied, (used Items)

Unsuitable

If goods are deemed unsuitable a refund may be issued on the total price paid for the item. Postage and freight charges are non-refundable.

Goods must be returned at the Customer’s own expense to the address displayed on this website.

Faulty Goods

If an item is proved to be faulty, the Customer may elect to receive either a refund or a replacement.

Postage and freight to return the item will be refunded if it is proved to be faulty.

Damaged Goods

On receipt of the order, the Customer should check that it has been delivered intact and in good condition.

Do not receive goods that are visibly damaged. Return of visibly damaged goods remain the responsibility of the courier.

Customers have 48 hours within which to notify of any damage. This may be done either by phone e-mail.

If damage is deemed to have occurred as a result of insufficient packaging, a refund or re-supply will be offered.

Cancellation of Orders

Order may be cancelled at any time.

If the order has already been shipped then it must be returned at the Customer’s own expense to the address listed on this website.

If the order has been charged then a refund will be issued by way of store credit or direct debit online payment for the value of the goods less any handling or postage expenses incurred.

Laybys

Full priced items may be paid for on Layby. Term of Layby is 3 months.

Items not paid for in full at this time will be put back into stock. Credit balance will be refunded to the customer either by store credit or direct debit.
